Just to let you know that the entry for the Hurricane Nationals will be held at £172 for a limited time so please if you can enter prior to arriving on line at http://enter.sailracer.org/events/enter-v2RYA.asp?eventid=156374 that would help in the organisation of the event.

So for £172 you get four days of top racing (two races per day)  at Weymouth one of the worlds best sailing venues.  Professional race committee, safety ribs, help on the beach, launching etc.

The Hurricane sponsor Typhoon will be providing fantastic prizes not just for the top three but for the top 10 boats to cross the line.  Many trophies are up for grabs, the best placed club trophy, the oldest combined crew, best placed mixed crew, the best placed newcomer to the Nationals and many more – it is all up for grabs.

John Ready and Andy Webb will be on hand for tuning and coaching advice and to help you pimp your boat.  We will be running a pro-am so that across the fleet the sailing improves.

Don’t forget to put your smiley faces on as Nick Champion will be on hand for two days taking pictures of all the action.

Weymouth have fantastic facilities with our off the water socials being held in the Spinnaker bar overlooking the launching area and harbour.  Three evening meals (Hog roast, carvery,   steak pie) are included in the price.  Extra meal tickets are available and food is available on the Friday night and Tuesday night if you are around – but let me know if you have not booked.

Entertainment – we have booked Supermassive on Saturday night, and a race night on Sunday, a fully licenced bar and a great bunch of people to share the craic.

The AGM will of course be held on the Saturday evening so you can have your say in how the class is being run.

Polo shirts for the event are available to order £15 with the Hurricane/Weymouth logos and your boat number on the back – send me an email if you would like to order a shirt.
