Well it happened (more for some than others!). The first, of hopefully many DWSC End of Season Cat Opens, the date for next year is the 1st & 2nd of November 2014, put it in your diary (when Santa brings it) and get in on your class association program of events, it is already hosting the Dart Single handed championships.
7 races completed (by the race team and some competitors!) The best shone through and the rest relied on eating more pies. A ‘brisk breeze’ created some speedy racing, the ‘Pussy Club’ showed how they got their name, and the less said about the Horton Pub visit on Saturday night (after the sponsored fireworks), the better. If you want to know what goes on at these events you really need to be there!
Results – 1st David White & Nobby Northrop, 2nd Will Sunnucks & Ben Clegg 3rd Malcolm Homes & John Moore, 4th Lloyd Turner & Mark Gower (just noticed the wrong handicap is still listed for 4th boat will check with 1.03 and see if position improves!).
